My stay at the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel was a mixed experience. While I enjoyed the charming historic character and the lovely location near the botanic gardens, the quality of the room left a lot to be desired. I faced issues with noise from the nearby Waitrose car park and fan ducting, which disrupted my sleep. Additionally, the breakfast was quite disappointing, lacking variety and freshness, leaving me to seek out local cafes. Overall, I felt the hotel has potential but requires significant refurbishing.

I recently enjoyed a stay at the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel and found a mix of positives and drawbacks. The location in the West End is fantastic, with easy access to shops and transportation. However, the condition of the rooms and the dining experience left much to be desired. Overall, the friendly staff were a highlight, but I'll be cautious about returning due to my mixed experiences. 🤔🌟

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and offered a lovely view of the Botanic Gardens, but I encountered issues with cleanliness, including mould in the shower. The bathroom was in need of updating, and the lifts being out of service was an inconvenience, requiring legs to climb multiple flights. Overall, it felt a bit dated.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and tried their best to assist, which was appreciated amidst the challenges. However, they seemed overwhelmed at times, particularly during busy breakfast hours.
Location

The hotel's location is excellent for exploring Glasgow, very close to the university and public transport options. I loved being near local shops and restaurants.
Dining

While I enjoyed the breakfast options, there were noticeable delays in service. An unfortunate incident during breakfast, involving an unpleasant experience, was a significant downside. The quality of dinner at the BoVine was also underwhelming, which was disappointing for a hotel of this calibre.
Facilities

The hotel's facilities looked nice but could use better maintenance. The absence of a mini-bar in the room was a letdown, and I encountered cleanliness issues that affected overall comfort.

My experience at the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel was a mixed bag. The staff were friendly and helpful, which really made my stay enjoyable, especially during breakfast. However, I did face a couple of issues, like the cleanliness of the room and some noise disturbances from the service areas that disrupted my comfort. Overall, I would say the hotel has a lot of potential, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

My room was basic and overlooked the car park, which wasn't great. The curtains were poorly hung and allowed too much light in, making it difficult to sleep well. I also noticed some cleaning issues that left me a bit disappointed.

My stay at the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel was quite good overall. The hotel’s historic charm and prime West End location made exploring the city a breeze. However, I did encounter some minor issues with room decor and maintenance that detracted from the experience, but the comfortable beds and friendly staff definitely made up for it. 🌟

Rooms

The hotel's location is fantastic, situated right by the Botanic Gardens and the University of Glasgow. It allowed easy access to shops, restaurants, and the subway for exploring more of Glasgow, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

During my stay at the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel, I found the location to be one of its strongest points, close to various amenities and beautiful gardens. However, the overall experience was marred by issues such as inconsistent room readiness, and some outdated facilities. While the staff was friendly, the service sometimes lacked efficiency and attention. The promise of quality dining was not fully realized, as some meals faced delays and shortages. Overall, it was an average experience that could benefit from improvements in service and facilities. 🌟😕

Rooms
6.0
My room felt a bit tired, as it had some visible maintenance issues like a broken toilet roll holder and noticeable noise from outside. However, it was clean and the comfortable bed provided a decent night's sleep.

While I was excited to dine at BoVine, I faced disappointment with limited choices and delays in food service. Breakfast options were adequate but could have included more fresh fruits.

The hotel provided basic facilities, but the outdated appearance and issues like broken lifts and maintenance concerns suggested it could use some renovations.
